NIKA-Flex® mooring tails are made of mixed Polyolefin & Polyester fibers. High tenacity Polyester fibers cover NIKASteel® fibers through an engineered twisting process. The selected twist factor & fiber tensioning result in higher strength and abrasion resistance compared to competitive conventional rope tails. All of the strands are composed of mixed polyolefinpolyester yarns and the resulting Polyester percentage is 50% – 50% w/w though the whole strand’s cross-section. Also, NIKA-Flex tails exhibit excellent resistance to sunlight & chemicals.
Standard lengths are 11m/22m (including the rope eyes) but other lengths are available upon request.
